Cleveland holds back Las Vegas Durango    [01/20/2010 - 10:37 PM]   Dynamic Duo of Johnson and Bland helps Reseda Cleveland hold off Las Vegas Durango Cleveland 67, Durango 58 By Jack Nelson The Cleveland High Cavaliers out of Reseda, CA defeated the Durango Trailblazers from Las Vegas, NV, 67-58, on Saturday in the 4th annual Johnnie L. Cochran Jr. Basketball Classic at LACES high school in Los Angeles. Cleveland, coached by Osiris Nalls saw their record move to 9-7 with Saturdays win while Durango, coached by DeShawn Henry, saw their season record fall to 9-7.

17U/16U competes at the Long Beach State team camp    [08/17/2009 - 02:10 AM] BCA 16/17U does incredible job at the just completed 3rd annual LBSU team camp. Players that stood out include steadily improving 2010 wing/forward Vadel Faniel/Palmdale Pete Knight, 2012 top prospect Darryl Mathews/Bellflower St. John Bosco, 6'4, 2011 twins Daniel and Michael Cohen/Chatsworth Sierra Canyon, 2012 wing Walter (Trey) Thompson/Santa Monica, 2011 lead guard Brandon Hunter/Crenshaw, 2013 point guard Chris Lockwood/Saugus and 6'7 post Andrew May/Pacific Palisades. BCA will start fall workouts in September. All players with intent to play with BCA for the upcoming 2010 spring/summer travel season are encouraged to attend.  The next event coming up will be the HAX Labor Day Classic, scheduled for Sep 4-7th at the HAX in Hawthorne.

Register With Blue Chip Athletes If you would like to register with Blue Chip Athletes please click Here   The BCA 2008 travel program had unparalleled success by placing a total of 14 players on the college level. Seven players committed  to accredited D1 Universities:Donley Minor - Lamar, Derek Flowers - UC Irvine, Kyle Richardson - LBSU, Terran Carter - CSUN, Bryce Smith - SDSU and Jamal Trice - UCONN Additionally we had 8 players committed to the Junior College Fresno City College. We will get you recruited!!
